Four Lines at Gulfood 2026
2026-11-03 16:29Gulfood Manufacturing 2026, Day One: Four Lines on Stand S-404
The doors at the Dubai World Trade Centre open at 10:00 on 3 November. Stand S-404 is finished a few hours early: the counter is stocked, the two units on the floor are in place, and the four posters on the back wall are straight. That is the moment an exhibition stand stops being a plan and starts being a shop.

Stand S-404 built and ready before the doors opened on 3 November.
Our invitation to Gulfood Manufacturing 2026 described one line — a patty former feeding a batter machine, a breading machine and the conveyors between them. The stand that is actually built carries four line types, because the buyers who registered against that invitation did not all make coated products.
Here is what is on it, and what is worth asking when you come.
What Is on Stand S-404
Four posters, four different answers to the same question: what do you want to put in a box at the end of the shift?
1. Burger patty and fish fillet forming line
A former fills a mould plate, a knock-out pushes the formed item onto a conveyor, and the plate geometry decides the shape. Weight is set by fill and by plate volume — which is why weight tolerance, not speed, is the first number to fix.
The question that matters for a buyer is changeover: how long it takes to go from a 90 g patty to a 110 g one, and whether the same former can run fish fillet, where the bind and the texture behave differently from ground beef. The full line, from former to stacker, is set out under hamburger patty and chicken nugget process line.
2. Double-channel fresh meat dice line
Fresh meat is pressed into a belt, cross-cut by a rotating blade and then cut lengthwise into dice. Two channels instead of one is throughput, not precision: the cube size comes from the blade set, not from the number of channels.
What decides the result is the state of the meat going in. Fresh meat has to stay cold and firm enough to hold its shape through two cuts, and dicing a product that has warmed up on the way to the machine produces crushed faces rather than clean ones. The single-channel version of the same line is described here: fresh meat dice process line.
3. Forming and coating line
Former, batter, breading, conveyors — in the order a coated product is actually made. The batter layer decides how the crumb adheres and how the coating behaves in the fryer. The breading stage matters twice, because crumb that is not recovered is a cost per tonne of output, not a detail.
Most lines are lost at the transfer points between those machines rather than inside them. That is why the conveyors are on the poster too: forming and coating processing line.
4. Multi-functional fresh meat slicer
Thickness is set by changing the blade carrier or the blade sleeve, and the carrier is detachable, which is what makes cleaning between products realistic rather than theoretical. The published cutting range is 2 to 50 mm in thickness with a maximum cutting width of 130 mm, and a floating unloading system keeps meat from sticking to the blade as it comes off.
It is the shortest conversation of the four on the stand and often the fastest decision, because a slicer either matches the thickness you sell at or it does not: automatic fresh meat slicer.
Why Four Lines and Not One Machine
Buyers arrive with a product and a constraint, not with a machine name. Someone making nuggets for a retail chain and someone dicing lamb for a kebab operation are both "meat processing", and a stand that shows one line forces half the visitors to describe their plant from memory.
The invitation was written before the stand was built, and what ships to a hall is decided later, against the meetings that are already booked. The four posters are the result: the coated line is still the centre of the stand, and the dicing and slicing lines hang beside it, so a buyer who came for cubes or slices does not have to be told those were left at the factory.
If you are building a whole line rather than buying a single unit, the individual stages are grouped under food processing lines, and the stand is a faster way to work out which of them you actually need.

The stand sits in the China pavilion, with the number on the fascia.
The Two Units on the Floor
Two machines travel with us and stand on the floor, in front of the posters. Neither is there to run production for three days; they are there because a guard that opens, a blade carrier that lifts out and a belt that can be touched answer more questions than a specification sheet.
Bring the product you want to cut. A dry run with your own product, at your own thickness or cube size, settles in ten minutes what a video call cannot.
What to Bring on 4 or 5 November
The show runs 3 and 4 November from 10:00 to 18:00, and 5 November from 10:00 to 17:00. If you are coming on either of the last two days, these are the things that turn a five-minute conversation at S-404 into a usable answer:
the product you want to make, and a photo of it;
the target weight, thickness or cube size, and the tolerance you sell against;
output per shift, as it actually is rather than as it is planned;
a plan or photos of the floor space the line has to fit into;
your power supply and voltage;
whether the product leaves the line fresh or frozen, because that changes conveying and the crumb system;
what happens downstream — tray, flow-wrap, box — since the packing end often sets the line speed.
Where S-404 Is
The stand sits in the China pavilion, with our name on the fascia above it and the four line posters on the back wall. Neighbouring stands run along the same aisle, so the number on the fascia is the quickest way to find us.

The team on S-404 before the opening morning.
The exhibition runs 3–5 November 2026 at the Dubai World Trade Centre on Sheikh Zayed Road. Full details of the show, the venue and the stand are in the Gulfood Manufacturing 2026 invitation we published before the build.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is on stand S-404 at Gulfood Manufacturing 2026?
Four processing lines: a burger patty and fish fillet forming line, a double-channel fresh meat dice line, a forming and coating line, and a multi-functional fresh meat slicer. Two of the units travel with us and stand on the floor in front of the posters.
What are the opening hours?
3 November 10:00–18:00, 4 November 10:00–18:00, and 5 November 10:00–17:00, at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
Can I bring a product sample to the stand?
Yes, and it is the most useful thing you can bring. A dry run with your own product at your own thickness or cube size answers more than any specification sheet.
Is the equipment CE marked?
The burger patty and fish fillet line is displayed as a CE line. Machines are configured per destination, so the declaration for your market is confirmed with the quotation rather than assumed from the poster.
Can you quote during the show?
Yes. A quotation needs the product, the target size or weight, the output per shift and the power supply — the list above. Bring those and the quote can start from the stand instead of from a follow-up email.
