Dutch Customers Test Food Forming Machine at Henco Machinery

On September 10, 2026, Jinan Henco Machinery Co., Ltd. welcomed a Dutch customer delegation at our production base in Jinan, China. The visit centred on our food forming machine range: the delegation watched live forming trials on the workshop floor, inspected the machines they plan to put into production in the Netherlands, and reviewed a customized forming and coating line with our engineering team.

Factory Tour: How a Henco Food Forming Machine Is Built
The delegation started in the production workshop, then moved on to our R&D centre and the machine showroom. Our technical team walked the group through the full build sequence of a food forming machine — stainless steel frame fabrication, food-contact surface finishing, electrical assembly, safety guarding and final test running before shipment. Because Dutch food processors answer to strict EU food-safety requirements, the group paid close attention to food-contact materials, cleaning access and the guarding design around moving parts.

Live Test: The Forming Machine Running Dutch Product Specifications
The core of the visit was a live test run. Our engineers set up the food forming machine to the customer's target portion weight and shape, so the delegation could check the formed product coming off the conveyor in real time instead of looking at a catalogue photo. The group then examined the machine up close, opening the service panels to review the mould plate assembly, the pneumatic system and the drive train — the components that decide shape consistency, weight accuracy and changeover time in day-to-day production.

Forming, Battering and Breading in One Automatic Line
A forming machine rarely works on its own. The Dutch team also reviewed how forming connects to the rest of the process: after forming, the product passes through a battering machine and a breading machine, then on to frying, freezing or packing. Seeing our automatic food forming and battering process line running end to end answered their main question — whether the machines hold a stable output when they are linked together rather than tested one at a time. For smaller plants, the same forming and coating steps can be configured as a hamburger patty and chicken nuggets process line.

Technical Meeting and Customized Solutions
In the technical meeting, both teams worked through the line layout on screen and discussed capacity matching, mould plate options, product changeover procedures, utility requirements and spare-parts planning for the Dutch plant. Henco builds standard machines as well as customized automatic food forming lines, and our OEM/ODM service covers everything from product trials and mould design to line layout and on-site commissioning, so overseas customers get a production line matched to their own specification rather than a fixed package.

Why European Food Processors Choose Henco
Henco has manufactured food processing machinery in Jinan since 2015 and supplies CE-certified machines to food factories across Europe and worldwide, including meat, poultry, seafood and vegetable processors. Our CE certificate for equipment and ISO 9001 quality management system support European customers through their own compliance checks, while factory-direct pricing, English-speaking technical support and a stocked spare-parts service keep running costs predictable after installation.

FAQ: Food Forming Machines for European Processors
What products can a food forming machine make?
A food forming machine shapes minced meat, poultry, seafood, potato and vegetable mixes into uniform portions — hamburger patties, chicken nuggets, fish patties, croquettes, vegetable patties, potato cakes and similar products. Changing the mould plate changes the shape, thickness and weight of the formed product, so one machine covers a range of items across the year.
Can the forming machine be built to our own product weight and shape?
Yes. Henco produces both standard models and customized forming lines. Send us your target product weight, shape and hourly output, and our engineers will recommend the mould plate, hopper and line configuration that matches it — and run a product trial before shipment.
How is a forming line supported after delivery?
Every line ships with installation and commissioning support, operator training, an English operation manual and a 12-month warranty. Spare parts and technical advice are handled by the same engineering team that built the machine, so a Dutch or wider European plant is not left waiting on a third-party agent.
